To register for league we must receive:
- Online Team application (found under League Registration menu)
- $200 deposit (nonrefundable unless your team is not accepted)
- $100 Refundable deposit (for fines if penalized)
- Team Roster (NYSW certified for youth teams) OR GBSC Waiver Roster.
- Team Roster/Certification for Non-Club Affiliated teams
Balance (paid in full) must be paid by your 2nd games. NO EXCEPTIONS. $50 Late Fees will be assessed if NOT paid in full by the 2nd game.
League Payment:
- $200 league deposit (nonrefundable unless your team is not accepted).
- League Balance MUST be paid in full by the second weekend of league play.
- Failure to pay balance by the second weekend of league play will result in removal from schedule. In addition, a $50 late fee will need to be paid before the team is allowed to return to schedule.
- Referee fees must be paid prior to start of the game.
Scheduling Deposit:
- A $100 Refundable Scheduling Deposit must be paid prior to the first game
- Deposit does not count towards $795 league fee
- Deposit can be transferred from 1st to 2nd session if unused.
- Deposit can be applied to “Club Cup; Last Bash Tournament” if unused.
- Deposit will be refunded after 1st session if not entering 2nd session.
2012 League Fines and Scheduling Penalties:
- $10 rescheduling fee will be charged to your team if a game change request is made less than 1 week, but greater than 72 hours (3days) before the scheduled game time
- $20 rescheduling fee will be charged to your team if a game change request is made less than 72 hours but greater than 24 hours before the scheduled game time
- $20 FINE (PLUS Ref Fees) will be charged to your team if a game change request is made less than 24 hours prior to the scheduled game time. This will result in a forfeit of game plus ref fees.
- $40 FINE PLUS TOTAL ref fee for failure to show up to a scheduled game. Game will count as forfeit of game and not be rescheduled.
- $50 Late Fee FINE for nonpayment of entire league fee by the first game.
Scheduling and Changes:
- All Requests must be sent via E-mail to sportscenter@stny.rr.com with SCHEDULE CHANGE, Team Name and Division listed in the Subject line of the email.
- Scheduling requests for start times, byes, conflicts with teams, etc. Should be listed in the comment section on your online registration.
- We will attempt to honor every request made prior to start of session.
- ALL scheduling requests must be sent via E-mail for our records; requests by phone will not be accepted.
- Each team is allowed ONE(1) free in season game change request that MUST made at least ONE(1) week prior to the game in question.
- Any subsequent requests will result in a penalty or fine in the amount listed in Scheduling Penalties and Fines section above.
- Not showing up to 2 games in a session will result in removal from league and no refund of any kind.
Ref fees are to be paid to referees on the field, prior to the start of the game.
We have been forced to create these new league scheduling rules and penalties as a result of teams abusing our rescheduling policy. PLEASE ask your parents to look at school calendars for dances, sporting events, etc that will not allow you to field a team BEFORE the season begins. It is easier for everyone involved if we can work a BYE in the initial schedule and not have to make changes mid-season. One in season schedule change affects at minimum your opponent, the field schedule and the ref schedule, not to mention the time involved to coordinate the change. By registering your team for a GBSC League, you are agreeing to all the policies and fines listed above.
